Here is a selection of images from the Napa Valley College and City of Napa, California Shakespeare in the Park. These are images from the final dress rehearsal and closing night. I usually don’t shoot when there is an audience, but in this case I could stay up front and out of the way tucked under one of the lighting instrument trees. When the audience was applauding the show, I could sneak out to get these overview shots.

It was said that from the top floor of the restaurant behind the arena, patrons asked if the two-master ship was actually in the water. The image was stitched from three images. To maintain the light levels to make stitching easier, I used the camera’s manual exposure setting. |
